Plan rectangular sheet cuts with real clearances

Import Excel panel lists

Read XLSX workbooks locally in your browser, select a worksheet and review detected columns before importing. CSV, TSV, TXT and pasted rows remain supported. Numeric cells use your selected input units; fractional inches retain exact physical values. Raw workbooks are never uploaded.

How the layout is calculated

Enter sheet size, thickness, kerf and margin, then add finished panel dimensions and quantities. CutNavi evaluates deterministic MaxRects combinations and shows placed and unplaced pieces. Kerf separates neighbors; margin reserves a boundary allowance.

Read utilization alongside sheet count

A 2440 × 1220 mm sheet with 10 mm margins has a 2420 × 1200 mm planning region. Utilization uses full physical sheet area, not just that region. More utilization is not automatically a cheaper purchase if another run uses fewer sheets.

Orientation and measurement inputs

Rotation can be allowed or locked. Non-none grain locks the supplied orientation; it does not match a decorative pattern across panels. Millimeters, decimal inches and bare fractional inches share exact physical geometry.

From a layout to production

Save runs to compare layouts and frozen costs, then export CSV, drawings or a printable production plan. Prices come from your library. This rectangular planner does not guarantee a global optimum or produce a cutting sequence, CAM or G-code.

Practical guides

Enter a measurement such as 18, 18.5, 3/4", or 18 1/2". Inch fractions use the selected inch unit or an explicit inch suffix.
